My editor and I were talking this morning about submissions for the publishing company and came up with a few additonal things to mention. With the cons coming up where we hope to get submissions, and with submission guidelines on the website here, we want authors to have a positive experience with us.

Part of that is getting you the information you need. So, ask yourself what you need from us. Then, ask us! "I wrote this and I need to know if it's any good." "Something's missing here. Can you help me figure out what it is?" "I attended your panel on writer's block (Add Some Ninjas! What to Do When You're Stuck) and I was wondering if the COLOR of the ninja outfit matters?"

Another thing we talked about was time management. I sometimes have trouble with that and it's important to make time for your projects. Set deadlines, write lists, make reminders. Whatever you have to do to get your thing done.

On the upside of stuff, we are going to be doing a book signing at the Shari's in Boise on Franklin Road near Best Buy in April! James and the morning crew are excited about and so are we! This will be the first in a series of book signings in the Boise area this year so if you want to sit with me for a few minutes and talk about the book, or pick up your copy, please join us! We'll post here and on Facebook the exact dates and times.

This week, I'm working on Gwen's blue and gold dress and hope to have it finished by Friday. Wish me luck!

Well, the Masked Ball has passed and the white embroidered gown took the Lady of Argent (White) category! There are pictures at www.MySCAPhotos.com of the entire ball if you'd like to check it out! I'll post pictures of the gown in action here as well.

Next on the agenda was a letter to PaizoCon in Bellvue, Washington (http://paizo.com/store/paizo/paizocon) about being a guest there. Fantastic Journeys Publishing has a gaming division and we'd like to talk with authors, gamers and geeks there. We hope we can secure an invite forr panels on writing, world creation and publishing, as well as cosplay.

If you'd like to see me at PaizoCon, or any convention or convergence, write those con heads and request us! Fans matter!

After writing to Paizo, my next project is a second pair of shoes for Lynn Hardy! She's attending a Ren Faire in Phoenix here in about 10 days and need another set of shoes for her gold outfit. We also finished purchasing the last of her material for her summer tour garb. I'm really looking forward to that!

But first, I have a priority of finishing a crossover outfit for my Muse, Gwen. It's almost finished now so I just need to spend about 20 hours to complete it. This needs to be done by March 18 for a night on the town of Kennewick, WA, Steampunk style! If you are in that area and want to meet us, let me know in the comments section! I'm sure she'd love to sign some autographs!

Love and kisses,
